In some circles, Carp are seen as trash fish. But to others, they are like freshwater bonefish. The line between a bonefish fly and a carp fly can be a thin one sometimes. Using synthetic chenille as the body that is more often found on bonefish flies keeps this fly looking slender and buggy. The rubber legs we used are also commonly used on bonefish patterns. In fact, if we tied this the exact same way, but in pale pink, it would make a great bonefish fly. But in the colors we have here, it is meant for weary carp.
