Starling feathers have a beautiful iridescent look to them. They are our favorite feather to use when tying small wet flies and soft hackles. They provide a sparse feather with tremendous movement that make them perfect for tying these types of flies. You can find feathers to tie a variety of flies ranging from a size 14 all the way to a size 20.
