Maxima Chameleon has been a popular leader and tippet material for a long time. It is the toughest and and most abrasion resistant nylon from Maxima. It is stiffer and a bit thicker in diameter than some other materials but sometimes that stiffness is desirable -- such as for turning over large flies, casting a long euro nymph leader, or for an abrasion resistant sink-tip leader for steelhead or salmon.
