Metz-#1 Hen Neck

These necks are top quality -- thin quills that don't break, consistent coloring, barbules with a lovely sheen and uniform length. The Metz Hen Neck from Umpqua are the perfect for having a wide variety to choose from. The web-free stiff barb and flexible steam nature of these feathers make tying with them extremely easy and make a great pattern. Use these feathers to make awesome saltwater or warm water patterns. Great for streamer splay tails and palmered bodies. Also, tons of feathers that are awesome for soft hackle wets, small woolly buggers, and loads of other patterns. These necks have been discontinued by Metz with limited availability.
