Tippet rings give you lots of options when building or preserving leaders. You can transition from a larger leader to small diameter tippet in one junction. Great for building tight line or euro nymph leaders. The larger 3mm size accommodate larger leader materiel in streamer leaders and are just easier to see and use for many purposes.
