We deliberately manufactured and packaged Semper Seal in long fibers! Why? The Semper Seal dubbing is not only perfect as a Seal Fur substitute where you simply cut the fiber length to 0.5 to 0.75inch or 10 to 15mm length. However, Semper Seal can be used as full-length fibers making it ideal for Saltwater, Steelhead, Predator and Salmon fly patterns

Seal Fur is fantastic for fly tying however the legal position of seal fur in many countries make this a difficult product to source and travel with.
